Cool, a journal.

Ummm, we recorded our first song in the garage the other day over two days. We used a Tascam 788 and Sonar 3 to mix it. We used some Shure mikes (sm57 and a sm5, and some other mikes. Our singer Jon wrote the song the other day, and we had never played it live or anything, and it was recorded in one take for each of us. We were trying to get it ready quickly for a contest in Calgary, Alberta, so we were up until 7:00am and 9:30am the next two days. The vocals were done at 8:00am in the morning. I guess that's all for now. We have 3 gigs coming up this month, and we should have a few more originals to post in the next 2 or 3 weeks.

It's great to be here. It's cool to be in the presence of so many great musicians.
